MawMaw Elmore

Last week Mark's Grandma pass away or as my family would say got her transfer papers to the most wonderful place not on earth. We are flying up to North Carolina for her funeral later this week. These last few years we were lucky enough to be close to her. She moved to Texas and has been able to see and hold Kacey! We miss her here on earth but find joy in knowing she is in good hands, in no pain, reunited with her husband and looking down on us with all smiles! When Kacey gets older Mark will be able to show her these pictures and tell her wonderful stories about her Great Grandma Elmore.

10 MONTHS

I can't believe Kacey is 10 months old. She now has 3 teeth....two on the bottom one fang on top....it is the side tooth not the front on top....weird huhhh??? She is so independent and hates when we feed her now. She loves to eat table food.....so we tried a strawberry....she loved it. In fact she started eating the stem and screamed when I took it away from her. Oh...we also gave...well she took my string cheese and loved that too. I got a few good pictures.

Shelly and I just went to Old Navy and Shelly bought her a 4th of July outfit! So ....she just had to put it on her....so cute! Check it out.




Oh and for a bit more news.....I know overwhelming blog!!!!


I was wanting to wait longer but there is no hiding it anymore....just as I am losing weight and fitting into my old clothes.....I am 12 wks pregnant. I was thinking twins or triplets since my stomach was already out there (thank goodness that wasn't the case) but the Dr. said it just comes out quicker since my body was just there 10 months ago. I am hoping it will stay this size for quite a while! I am nauseous if I don't eat every second and I am so sick of eating at this point and it is so hot. So I have decided the perfect time to get pregnant would be in August then by the time you know it the weather is getting cooler....then the baby is due in May!! No summer pregnancy! Brianne had the right idea! I will have to do it for the next one.





Kacey had the pleasure of telling almost everyone.



Our little pea of a baby! The planning was a little off.....this will be a Christmas baby....seriously....it is due Dec. 23! It will be a great Christmas blessing.....but I don't want to miss Kacey's Christmas and I would hate to be in the hospital on Christmas....I am sure it will all work out!

S U M M E R T I M E!!!!!

Summer is so great for me this year! Last year kinda stunk ....I was huge pregnant...it was HOT...I was working! But this year has started out great. My mom is home for the summer and gives me that much needed break from my busy body sweetheart of a daughter! The pool at my parents house is heated and now perfect to go swimming almost everyday...it took a few times for Kacey to warm up to it but now she is loving it. I will have to get some pictures of her in the water. The only problem is that when she is in the water I still have to be in arms length....so I haven't been able to get action pictures in the water yet.

Although a bit of a sad note my parents are going out of town for 2 weeks this morning....we will miss them soooooo much!!!!!!!!





OH....ON A TOTALLY DIFFERENT SUBJECT!!!!!
ALESHIA'S BABY SHOWER

It turned out great and was a ton of fun to plan with Mindy. We had so much fun doing the invitations and diaper cake together. It was a lot more work than I thought is was to throw a shower but was totally worth it, I don't think we would have made it without Pam Beck's help to finalize the day. It is always fun to go to a shower and see old friends. I didn't take my camera so I don't have any pictures....but Aleshia and Mindy posted some. It was my first time to make a cake for an actual event....I really enjoyed it. Mindy sent me this photo.
Oh and for those of you who tried Pam Beck's Cheese Ball I have the recipe .....SO YUMMY:
CHEESE BALL
2-8oz. cream cheese, softened
1 small can crushed pinapple
green onion and green pepper chopped fine
1cup chopped pecans

Mix all together except pecans, shape in a ball, then roll in pecans!
