Heck of a WEEK!

Well Kacey is doing great!!! Except for her new toy! She loves the plunger.....this is an old one...you can see the dust....I swear it's dust! Anyway she loves to suction it to the ground and walk with it as a cane. I have hid it but she is always looking for it!


As far as Mark and I we have had a heck of a week and it is only Wednesday! Mark has been sick for about 2 wks now. To the point that I was getting so frustrated doing everything and was beginning to be mean and finally made him go to the doctor again.....and well he has

Pneumonia....that's right...I feel awful for being mean!!

Oh and I went to the ear doctor today to get further results on a CAT scan I did a month ago and they discovered another cholesteatoma.....I had 2 surgeries in the past like 15 years ago to get rid of them after they had caused 90% hearing loss in my right ear and now I need surgery again. I am going to another specialist to see if the surgery can wait till after the new baby is born.


I also started school tonight and it is going to be really hard! We will be dissecting a cat....I don't know that I can handle that being pregnant. It is just going to be hard not getting behind while Mark is getting better because both him and Kacey need my help all day! Oh and I am going to be wrestling Mark to stay home from work enough days to get better.

Anyway it has been a rough half of a week but can go nowhere else but up! Especially with Kacey to brighten up every day!

My Princess!!!

Dress up already????!!!!! Kacey got a tutu and baton for her birthday and just let her cousins put it on. When I tried to put it on she cried but apparently other kids have magic powers and can get her to do almost anything. In fact she is now shaking her head no at me when I try to take her from her cousins.....can you believe it????? What a spunky little girl!!!!! She definitely knows what she wants.

1st BIRTHDAY!!!!!

Saturday 8/11 was Kacey's birthday! A year....I can't believe it. She had fun but of course she had to be extra clingy that day and not go to anyone but mom and dad and not do her smash cake. Isn't that how it always works out???? So .....we did the cake the next day without all the extra people. She got so many cute things. Oh...and thanks to Aunt Lanette I have finally changed out her earrings! They are so cute....little pink flowers with green in the middle. She was half asleep so it wasn't as hard as I expected.

She didn't really eat that much....Mark and I helped!

Red wagon with big wheels....Mark just had to get her this with GG's help.....she loves it....they go for walks almost every night.

She got so much but I could only download a few pic's.

She also had her year check up and 4 shots. It was way to many and she wasn't happy with me all day. She weighs 19lbs and is 30 1/2 inch. So still in the 25% weight and 75% height. She eats a lot but apparently has her dads metabolism....LUCKY GIRL!

20 WEEKS

OK ....so half way done!!!! I don't feel 20 wks preg. that's for sure. I just remember being a lot bigger....but I think I am just thinking of the end with Kacey cause it seems so recent. New Baby is good and healthy. We aren't finding out what it is....not that I would know if I wanted to because they couldn't see. I am almost positive it is a BOY because the Chinese lunar calender says so!!!! I will have to get shopping!!!!!
I have also realized how not ready I am to have another baby! Thanks to Aleshia and Cole of course. He is so cute and little but I know what they turn into and I am not ready! Just walking in the hospital gave me chills. She delivered at the same hospital I go to in Dallas. The Garland's are doing great by the way and what a cute family! Circus

A good friend of Mark's got us great tickets to the circus. I have never been so I took Kacey and we invited my sister and her 5. All the kids had fun! Kacey was good through the first intermission.....but then she was a little bit of a pain....but she enjoyed it. The first half she was clapping and bouncing up and down. Then she got tired and cranky. My favorite part by far was the motorcycles....it was amazing. The elephants were cool but I honestly don't like to see animals used it that way...just a personal thing....I am sure they are treated great.

I wanna be a cowgirl!

Kacey loves this cowboy hat her Aunt Shelly got her. She tries to put it on herself....so funny! I really want her to walk before she turns 1. I know...I will regret it but I am still trying.


DD gave us this baby stroller because it was helping Kacey walk but she would rather ride in it! The kids push her fast...she loves it. I think she will break it soon....she just looks to heavy for it.
