POOR BABY UPDATE!

So we saw the Dr today and it is a fracture. She got a hard cast on today and it was not fun!!! It took 3 people to hold her down! Mark just feels awful...but accidents happen. She will have it on for 3wks. Poor thing....she hates it and I just can't imagine how heavy and uncomfortable it is for her. The only thing I think she will enjoy is the lack of baths. We can't bathe her as often because it is going to be hard to keep it dry. I know she will pull a bag off....maybe we will try press n seal or something. I am so thankful it's just a fracture....I was thinking the ligaments might be messed up or something. Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers.

POOR BABY!!!!

My poor baby hurt her arm and got diagnosed with nursemaid's arm. So they popped it back and we went on our way. Well today she hasn't moved it at all and cries if we touch it....so I waited almost 24 hrs (Dr orders) and then took her back in. They did x-rays and they don't know what it is so we have to visit an ortho pediatrician the soonest we can. It stinks to see her in so much pain but now that we have been home for a while she has been doing really well. They put this splint on her and she feels more secure and is playing like crazy now to make up for the lack of activity all day. I didn't realize how hard it would be to see my kiddo in pain but it is awful. We hope the ortho ped will take the splint off and she will be fine...the ped in the emergency room had no clue what it could be. Keep her in your prayers.

I had to include this photo....it's funny because she hated this vest jacket when I first put it on her a few months ago....so I stashed it away. Well the other day I tried again and now she wants to wear it everyday. She even tried to keep it on when they where doing x-rays and putting on the splint.

HOMEBOUND......FOREVER????!!!!

So adjusting to two kids has been a challenge but I have been lucky enough to get a low maintenance second child! Kudos to all of you with 2 or more. You sure make it look easier than it is. The simplest things have become so hard. Like taking a shower and getting ready for the day. Trent is low maintenance but very hungry....so.... between the 2 of them if I am not changing a poopy diaper I am feeding them. I really just need to manage my time better. It is also just impossible to go to the store. Kacey won't get in the back of the buggy and I can't fit Trent in the back with groceries....SO....am I homebound forever......only time will tell.

It is all worth it and I really do love every minute of it.

I am starting class next week and will miss them soooo much but I will also enjoy learning and adult interaction.
Plus those 2 days 3hrs a day will make me appreciate my two wonderful bundles of joy that much more!

This is Kacey getting ready to go in for the kill!
Kacey loves her new little brother and just can't quit kissing him! Just look at the terror in his eyes! He braces himself when he hears her coming "bebe bebe bebe". Poor little guy!

She also tried to eat his fingers when she thought I wasn't looking.

But mostly she hasn't really noticed him and is up to her goofy self.

Trying on hats and reading.

Hanging out with dad "Chips and football party".

We gave them both a bath and they just looked so cute together after.

Mark is actually holding the baby!!!! Had to catch this moment. His job right now is to make sure Kacey doesn't feel neglected(pediatricians orders) which he is really good at so he rarely holds him but is an expert at changing both the kids diapers. I am so lucky to have a husband that helps so much. He is a wonderful father and husband!
