Little Trent Man 8 months

Our little guy is 8 months old now!! It seemed slow at first but now it is going to fast.....I was ready for all the crying of a newborn to go and constant neediness to tamper off but now he is getting to big to fast. He started crawling last week....well really more of a scoot...he looks like an inch worm getting around. As of yesterday he can go from scooting to sitting. He weighs 18.5 lbs and is 28in. He has 4 teeth on top and 4 on bottom. He is eating table foods....bananas, crackers, rice, tortillas, bread, pretzels and his all time favorite PUFFS! Unfortunately he is still allergic to milk products...tried yesterday. He is so happy most of the time and just lights up a room! He has such a fun personality. He already seems to tease Kacey....if she doesn't want him to have it he keeps pestering her...pulls her hair...messes with her books....anything to get a rise out of her and then laughs at her. They are playing so good together at times too! She is always saying "Trent sooo fun-ny", "Where's Trent Man", "Trent Cute", "Trent soooooo happy". Kids are such a joy!

He seriously could eat all day if I kept feeding him.....he's a bottomless pit!

He loved being able to sit at Kacey's little craft table.

I couldn't believe he was sitting up in his bed! We have to put the railing up now.

TWO!!!!!

I can't believe my baby is 2! She is so much fun and impresses me everyday with things she says and does. We did a little family party, plus a few friends that live close, at Celebration. The weather turned out perfect...it was even kinda cold by the time we left. She got so many toys and loves them all! We did Mickey Mouse of course!! The biggest disappointment for me was that I bought a huge Mickey Mouse head balloon that blew away before she even saw it....$7 down the drain and she had fun without it. I am sure I will always go overboard on birthdays....it's a mom thing....right??!!!

After making this cake I totally understand why people order cakes. That was the most stressful part. Usually I go to DD's house and use her materials and such but this time I did it all by myself and after the time put in and the materials it would have been worth it to have hired someone. Cake stuff is expensive!

Had to put this James pic in....he is just so cute and was chowing down on the cake!

A lot of people....mostly family!

It was windy and we couldn't get the candle to light...not that she would have known what to do with it anyway!!

So excited about babies!

By far the favorite....the kids pushed her around in this the rest of the party....Oma got it for her and it lights up and Mickey talks and sings. She is on it everyday...in fact the party was on Friday and on Sunday Mark had to replace the batteries already!

Zoo

We went to the zoo a couple weeks ago and it was really stinkin' hot! I wouldn't recommend it! We did go on half price Wednesday so the few hours we spent there was well worth it. We went to the Dallas zoo last year but Kace was really to young to really get it. This time it was great! She just kept saying zoo....animals...that was fun....all day and everyday after. I was wanting to ditch Trent but my mom got busy so we dragged him along and surprisingly he was the best one there! We had a blast but right after lunch we all were done....the heat had gotten to us.

For some reason I look like the only happy one here but I swear they had a great time!!!

Kacey loved the Giraffes...she calls them all Gerald the Giraffe....that's her stuffed ones name!

So happy!

It was scary how close this gorilla was.....a sign said he was tame and that's why they didn't have a high fence up.....I think that's why attacks happen at zoo's!!!!

Northpark Playhouse display

We went to my favorite mall to get my wedding ring cleaned and they had playhouse displays. Kacey loved it....they weren't even open and she enjoyed it and cried when we pulled her away. They had some pretty cool ideas for playhouses...well I guess if you've got a lot of money or a handy man (with plenty of time on his hands) at home. I only got pictures of some that we sneaked on. We also experimented with my wide double stroller. I didn't think it would fit through the doors so I have never tried and it worked just fine. So it was our first of many to come mall trips!!!
