Trunk or Treat

We went to trunk or treat and Kacey had so much fun! She doesn't quite get the going to each car thing but it was still fun. She would stop after each car and try to eat the candy she got. She would have been happy with one candy.....I guess that's not such a bad thing! She did get tired of wearing her hat....so Mark took a turn....she thought it was pretty funny and it made her want to put it back on.

Stopping after each and every trunk!

Moving on to the next one after taking away her pumpkin...temporarily.

Daddy's turn to wear the hat!

FUN FILLED WEEK

I have been trying to get Kacey used to her Halloween costume so she will wear it on the big day. So we have had a few trial runs! She seems to like it in short time periods.

We also went to the state fair this week and had a blast. Kacey liked the car show and had to climb in all the cars she could get to.

We also got to see cows getting milked by machines and I had to get a picture of Mark and Kacey by the huge milk.

Kacey wasn't sure about the carousel but Mark insisted she go another time and she warmed up a little.

The highlight of the day was Kacey playing the duck game....we paid twice just so she could keep playing with the ducks. She was so proud of herself when she finally caught one....it was priceless!!!!

We really thought she would like the petting zoo but she was so afraid and held on to her daddy tight.

Oh and of course we hit the pumpkin patch for the first time ever. It was fun but she fell asleep before the hayride the only part I thought she would like. Oh well there is always next year.

Little Miss Independent

Now 14 months....Kacey just wants to do everything herself. She is now trying to eat with a spoon. She is pretty good and gets a lot in her mouth but just as much outside of it. She has even started pulling up her pants, trying to put her shirt on and the other day she put on one of her older cousins swimsuits with very little help from Oma!

We also went to a birthday party for one of her friends Nate at the Little Gym and she loved it. She was such a big girl....and already embarrassed of her parents! She sat so good with all of the other kids at the table to eat pizza and when Mark came over to tear her pizza up into smaller pieces she pushed him away like "oh my gosh how embarrassing" look on her face, it was to funny. It's so fun to see them grow into their own but sad for us parents. I know it 's a broken record but time goes way to fast!

Oh this is an outfit Mark got for Kacey. He was pretty proud of himself for getting to pick it out without my help or criticism's!
